Set in war-torn Sarajevo in 1993, Sarajevo Voices follows the tragic story of two young lovers separated by culture and war, weaving lines from Romeo and Juliet throughout. Underpinning this story is the hope and perseverance of people who will go on, no matter what. The play, written for Texas UIL, allows for flexible and expanded casting, creative staging, and a great deal of directorial discretion.
