Late August in the Sudetenland of 1939: Two Nazi Red Cross Nurses are poisoned to death while serving in a humble Catholic Infirmary for peasants, run by the Sisters of Saint Ludmilla, in a small village outside of Prague. It is the daunting task of a high-ranking SS Officer to solve the crime, catch the killer, and swiftly perform an execution to satisfy his imposing and demanding superiors of the Third Reich.
