The Theban men can’t hold a logical thought for ten seconds; the Theban women have trays permanently affixed to their hands. Oedipus should do something. But he is too befuddled. Tiresias, a 200-year-old blind prophet is summoned for his advice. But Tiresias is now a woman more interested in other things. Tiresias advises the women to invoke the Goddess for help. The Goddess responds to their incantations. She has an idea for lifting the women’s plague without the men returning to their pre-plague misogynistic logic. Will it work?
