Written for an all-female cast and designed for flexible production, TROJAN WOMAN may be performed by a full ensemble of twelve or with a streamlined six-actor doubling structure. This bold, darkly comic reimagining of The Trojan Women places Hecuba at the center of a ruined modern world where Athena, Hera, Aphrodite, and Gaia debate whether humanity deserves one final chance. As Hecuba is confronted by Cassandra, Andromache, Helen, and a feral Chorus, ancient myth collides with contemporary violence, power, gender, and survival. Percussion, ritual, humor, and horror drive this ensemble-centered work toward Gaia’s devastating final judgment.
