Yoga Warriors is about a group of people attending a yoga retreat at which they practice yoga, meditate, sit in the hot tub, have massages, and work out their relationships. And like true yoga warriors, they battle, paradoxically, for peace. Radica, a yoga teacher herself, has dragged her reluctant boyfriend Joe to the retreat, during which they struggle with their relationship. Close friends, Judi and Joan, argue over whether one will produce a child for the other. Chase courts Daisy, who is blind, defensive, and very fond of her guide dog, Carla. Mona is very uncomfortable in her body and seeks solutions. Kate only speaks at the end. Everyone is in love with the yoga teacher, Phil, who is a voice until he appears in the final scene. The play ends with the feeling of community with all contributing to both inner and world peace.
